Terms of Use

These terms govern use of Clay County Court Docket, a private reference resource. By accessing the pages or a linked service, a visitor accepts these conditions. Anyone who does not accept them should discontinue use.

FCRA restriction. This private reference resource is not affiliated with a government agency or court and is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Its material and any linked tool may not be used for credit decisions, employment screening, tenant screening, insurance eligibility, or another FCRA-regulated purpose.

1. What This Website Is

Clay County Court Docket is a privately operated reference resource. It identifies official access routes for Clay County District Court, MCRO, Clay County Court Administration, Minnesota eFile & eServe, and other public court services. It does not store the official court file or operate an official court system.

Clay County Court Administration is the local official access office. The Minnesota Court of Appeals is part of the state appellate system, not a substitute for the Clay trial-court record.

2. Informational Use Only

Content is general information, not an official Register of Actions, court order, calendar notice, or legal opinion. Minnesota Rules of Public Access Rules 2, 4, and 8 subdivision 2 control Judicial Branch record access. Confirm any fact that matters with the court or official record custodian.

3. Rules for Using This Site

A visitor agrees not to:

  • Violate federal, Minnesota, or local law.
  • Use material to threaten, harass, or stalk another person.
  • Use the resource for any purpose regulated by the FCRA.
  • Attempt to bypass security or obtain unauthorized access.
  • Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools against the pages.
  • Interfere with another person's use of the service.

4. We Are Not a Consumer Reporting Agency

Clay County Court Docket does not create consumer reports, credit reports, or background reports. It may not be used to make credit, employment, tenant, insurance, licensing, benefits, or other decisions subject to the FCRA. A visitor agrees not to use information from this resource or a linked service for those purposes.

5. No Legal Advice

No material here is legal advice. Information about MCRO, Minnesota eFile & eServe, public-access rules, or Clay County procedures cannot determine how a filing, deadline, order, or case applies to an individual. A Minnesota-licensed attorney can provide legal advice.

6. Accuracy Is Not Guaranteed

Information is provided as is. Court procedures, public access, addresses, fees, technical systems, and hearing schedules may change. A court docket is also dynamic: filings, settings, orders, closures, and access restrictions can change a case record after a page is read.

Neither this resource nor a partner tool guarantees completeness, availability, or current accuracy. Confirm a court date, case status, filing requirement, or record request with Clay County Court Administration or the court that holds the case.

7. Third-Party Services and Links

Links can lead to Minnesota Judicial Branch pages, MCRO, Clay County offices, the Court Payment Center, or third-party providers. Their content, prices, privacy practices, and availability are outside this resource's control. A visitor should review the destination terms before using a linked service.

8. Intellectual Property

Text, graphics, logos, and code on this resource belong to Clay County Court Docket or the applicable content partner. They may not be copied, distributed, modified, or used to create derivative material without written permission, except as law allows.

9. Limits on Our Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Clay County Court Docket is not liable for loss or damage connected with use of the resource, reliance on its material, or use of an outside service reached by a link.

10. Indemnification

A visitor agrees to indemnify and hold Clay County Court Docket harmless from claims, actions, demands, losses, or costs arising from that visitor's misuse of the resource or violation of these terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by Minnesota law. Any dispute related to use of the resource must be brought in a court with jurisdiction in Minnesota, subject to applicable law.

12. Changes to These Terms

These terms may be changed at any time. Updated terms take effect when posted on this page.
